For the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, to the building up of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:12
About
The Turnaround Equipping Center is located at the gateway of Cazenovia, New York. The Turnaround provides a platform for impartation to all who come to receive ministry through the prophetic word, prayer, and above all, resting in the very presence of God. As we seek the heart of the Father, our role as His sons and daughters deepens, establishing us to move freely in our identity and destiny here on earth.
The vision of the Turnaround encompasses a Community Outreach Center, The Healing Room of Madison County, 24/7 Prayer Room, and Church meeting site.
In all of this, we pray, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

THE
TEAM
April and Glen Trush have been married just shy of thirty-four years. Five years into their marriage, Jesus became their first love, and their journey in Him continues today. They have been greatly blessed by the joy of their progeny; for their children’s lives display a tangible example of unconditional love.
A pilgrimage of true biblical teachings have brought great liberty to the lives of April and Glen. It is from the overflow of these teachings their hearts have embraced the call of the Turnaround: An Equipping Center for the Saints.
The name Turnaround was derived from the turnaround used by the railroad once located to the south of the existing building. The remains of the foundation, with it’s center fulcrum stone, can still be seen today.
Roundhouse and turnarounds were used to turn the great behemoth locomotives in the opposite or different directions on the railroad lines. The Syracuse & Chenango Valley Railroad started in 1873. It was the life-line to Madison County for seventy years. The Cazenovia Depot of old was the crown jewel of that railroad.
It is our desire and dream that the Turnaround project will be a life-line of God’s love to many.
The History of the Turnaround
During a sermon at our home church in 2011 a question was asked of the congregation: “What is your God given dream?” Honestly, I did not have one. Yet, as the sermon continued, a dream unfolded before me. The vision depicted a large building. I could see the rear corner of the building. It was made of cinder blocks. (To me, the cinder blocks represented a commercial property and not a residence.)
Positioned within the center of the building was material. Material used for worship. I knew the center of the building, the heart of it, would be worship.
Around the walls of the building were many little rooms. Rooms representing different ministries.
The Lord breathed into life that day an equipping center; an equipping center for the saints.
Time passed. I tried to “help” God fulfill the vision by looking at different locations, but I found it was to be His timing, His location, His purpose. When the local grocery store sold to someone else in 2011, my heart was broken. I thought I missed it. I thought a God given opportunity slipped through my fingers; most certainly, I did not want to be found unfaithful to the call.
But God…
On December 28, 2017, our family inherited the existing Turnaround building.
But God…
If you drive behind the Turnaround and look at the rear corner of the building, you will see it is made of cinder block.
A vision that is very pleasing to my eyes.
