And a tiny rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot wants it to go, even though the winds are strong. So also the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do.
James 3:4-5a TLB
Our words matter. A simple word can change the course of destiny.
May we prove to navigate our words wisely, and be helmsmen of healing.

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Speak up for others.

A small rudder sets the course. Determining destiny. Declaring, life or death.
Speak life!
Jesus said,
“But I say to you that for every idle word that men speak, they will give an account on the Day of Judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37 MEV
Our words matter!
Prayer
Father,
I repent for every idle word I have spoken.
I acknowledge every harsh and idle word I have uttered intentionally and unintentionally. I regret each unfit word steeped in sarcasm, or ridicule, coarse joking, bitterness, doubt, jealousy, slander, condemnation, insecurity, fear, judgement, gossip, anger, falsehood, pride, harm, and death.
I confess that I have been reckless with my words. Lord have mercy.
May every idle word that I have spoken, be redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
Cleanse my lips, dear Lord, that I may set course with You.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14 NIV)
May I be a helmsman of healing for the Kingdom of God - a speaker of life -
in Jesus’ Name!
Thank You, Lord!
Amen
Maybe, today is the day?
May today be the day of your salvation.
Invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life.
Dear Jesus,
I ask You to be the Lord of my life.
Amen
