I Am

The Above References in John

Strong’s Lexicon - 1510

I exist.

I Am That I Am

To be. To come. To abide. I exist. I Am.

The fiery presence of God roars throughout His Holy Word from cover to cover. The Word is ablaze with Him! Throughout the Old Testament into the New, the embodiment of God is illuminated. The First. The Last. Alpha. Omega. The Beginning and the End. His Spirit burns eternal among the pages of the Bible.

His fire is evident as it ignites a trail from the burning bush (Exodus 3) to the flickering flames described within the very eyes of God. (Revelation 19:12 KJV) Truly, our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:29KJV)

I Am That I Am

Burns the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

Yahweh burned brightly, in (John 4:25-26) as He identified Himself as the Messiah. Again, God’s Holy fire was ablaze as He proclaimed, “Before Abraham was, I am.”

(John 8:58)

I exist.

Seven times, in the book of John, the Almighty stood before the people declaring,

“I Am.” “I am bread. I will feed you life eternal. I Am. I am light. I will light your way. I Am. I am the gate - the portal to heaven. I Am. I am the Good Shepherd. I will provide and protect you. I Am. I am the resurrection. In Me, rise again. I Am. I am the way. I am a journey of spiritual life. I Am. I am the truth. No lie is within Me. I Am. I am the life. I have defeated death. I Am. I am the true vine. Be nourished in Me.”

I Am. I Appear. I Abide. I have come into being. I exist.

Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:58)

There is no dividing line, but a prophetic cord, that blazes from Genesis to

Revelation, proclaiming the truth of Him who was, and is, and is to come.

Established before the beginning of time…

I Am!

Prayer

Father,

I acknowledge that You, O Mighty God, are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Remove from within me any dividing line that has separated the Old Testament from the New. Set Your truth ablaze! I repent in any way I have been lukewarm. I desire to be red hot for You. Fan into flame the gift of God that lies within me. May the ember of Christ radiate brightly inside of me. Set my heart aglow. Oh Lord, burn off any spirit of religion I have embraced that teaches the Messiah of yesterday is not the God of today. Consume any such falsehood I believed.

There is a flame that lights the way from the burning bush to the fiery eyes of God.

May this holy fire, the old and the new, dance within me in one accord.

Spirit burn fervently within me, I pray.

I bow before You, the Great I Am.

I take of Your bread - life eternal.

I seek Your light to brighten my path.

I step through Your gate - a heavenly portal - having access to Your presence.

I exalt You as the Good Shepherd. I will follow where You lead.

I declare You have risen! I too, in Christ, will rise again.

I seek Your way as my spiritual journey.

I long for Your truth.

I thank You for life, and defeating death.

I will be well nourished by the true vine - connected to the heart of God.

I am so thankful, that in my life, You exist!

Yes, Lord, from beginning to end, Your Word remains…I Am That I Am!

Amen!
