As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.
Psalm 71:14 NIV
In reading Psalm 71, I was enthralled by verse fourteen. What a declaration!
“I will always have hope.” I thought, “Wow!” What if I faced each moment, every circumstance, all situations, with such resounding hope?
As followers of Christ, the hope of glory, resides within us. When facing diversity of every kind, may we choose to trumpet HOPE, emitting Divine expectancy in to the atmosphere, trumpeting a resounding blast of Holy Spirit assurance.
In this verse, hope and praise go hand in hand. Let us determine to walk in one accord with the God of all hope, praising His Name forever.
Be encouraged. I do believe I hear the sound of the trumpet.
Prayer
Father,
I repent for not holding on to hope.
I have let the promises of God grow dull within me.
Today, I acknowledge in Christ, I have hope - a Divine expectancy.
I choose to raise the trumpet of hope to my lips, and release a resounding blast of the promises of God into the atmosphere, reverberating hope in to my every situation, even to the nation.
I trumpet, “Yes, and Amen” to hope; decreeing, “Hope will not disappoint!”
Amen
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
